Vee Gum T
A complex colloidal and extremely plastic, hydrous magnesium aluminum silicate. Used as a macaloid-type Bentonite suspension agent for glazes, to give plasticity to non-plastic whiteware and refractory bodies and as a surface hardener. Also used as a suspension agent in glazes. Due to the hydrophilic nature of the material, a small amount of dry material can absorb a large amount of water without affecting the chemistry of the glaze.
